Ruth A. Johnson, 64, of Terre Haute, IN passed away 11:49 AM Thursday in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN.
She was born March 5, 1948 at Chicago, IL.
Surviving are her companion of 38 years, Charles Smith of Terre Haute; her children, Dorothy Johnson of Florida, Steve Johnson of Chicago, IL, Connie Cantu of Chicago, IL, Bill Johnson of Chicago, IL and Raeann Hernandez of Terre Haute, IN; 5 sisters, 4 brothers, 26 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Betty Wilson.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM CST Monday at the Auburn Cemetery, rural Marshall, IL with family and friends invited to meet at the funeral home at 12 Noon Monday for procession to the cemetery at 12:45. Visitation will be 2-4 PM CST Sunday at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall, IL. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Pearce Funeral Home.
