Nila M. Higgins, 82, of West York, IL, formerly of Marshall, IL passed away 8:35 AM Sunday, August 5, 2012 in the Burnsides Community Health Center at Marshall.
She was born July 31, 1930 in Vigo Co., IN, the daughter of Walter and Eleanor Higgins.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Mara Higgins of West York, IL; a sister, Thelma and four grandchildren, Chris Perry, Amanda Higgins, Kenneth Higgins and Brandi Higgins. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Bill, Bob, Elma and Maxine.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Pearce Funeral Home at Marshall with Rev. David Deal officiating. Burial will be in the Bradbury Cemetery at West York. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
