Catherine E. Leonard, 82, of Martinsville, IL passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 at her residence.
She was born September 28, 1929 at Chicago, IL, the daughter of Thomas Reilly and Matilda Sparks Reilly. She married George Leonard who preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 1979.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Bill King of Casey, IL; grandchildren, Cris and Darby Shonk of Greenup, IL, Amy and Greg McGrath of Casey, IL and Carly Shonk of Mattoon, IL and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Reilly.
She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at Casey, IL.
Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 14th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 414 S. 6th St., Marshall, IL with Father Mike Haag officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Marshall. Friends will be received after 10:00 AM at the church. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities.
